Battery Pack Aadhaar · EU Battery Passport

One record for every battery pack, from the factory line to the recycler.

Battery Enlighta issues the 21-character Battery Pack Aadhaar Number (BPAN) for Indian EV batteries, prints the QR label, and keeps the battery's lifecycle record that service centres, second-life operators and recyclers can update.

  1. 01

    Register your company

Enter the manufacturer code the national agency gave you and your factories.

  2. 02

    Describe each pack model

Capacity, chemistry, voltage, cell origin, materials and carbon footprint, once per model.

  3. 03

    Issue BPANs

Up to 2,000 at a time. Serials can never repeat, even with several people issuing at once.

  4. 04

    Print labels

Each QR opens the battery's passport and also carries its static data for offline reading.

  5. 05

    Track the battery's life

Vehicle fitment, state of health, service, repurposing to a new BPAN and recycling.

  6. 06

    Share and export

Grant recyclers and service centres access, use the API, export for the government portal and the EU.

India's Battery Pack Aadhaar guideline is still a draft (Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, January 2026). Battery Enlighta follows it exactly, keeps every code table as data so a revision is quick to apply, and shows a warning wherever the draft contradicts itself.
